Mr. Ganesh Kohli — Founder; Chief Mentor
IC3 Movement; KIC UnivAssist
Ganesh Kohli is a teacher and counselor who has founded, nurtured and led multiple education-focused organizations over the past 20 years. An engineer by education, Ganesh started his career teaching Mathematics besides helping families find the best-fit education globally. His journey has led him to visit over 450 colleges and universities, present workshops at 300+ high schools, help 4,000+ students with their higher education decisions and present at numerous global conferences. In 2015, Ganesh stepped back from active involvement in his entrepreneurial ventures to drive initiatives that will have social impact. He supports The Aha Movement and Soul Science Foundation to bring meditation and mindfulness in everyday life. He has also simultaneously envisioned the IC3 movement to impact 175,000 high schools over the next 15 years. Serving as the Chair of IC3, Ganesh has helped build a platform that is providing much-needed focus on career and college counselling within high schools. The IC3 movement now attracts leaders from 500+ educational institutions to its annual conference, has 30 regional events across Asia and supports free education for school teachers to become trained career and college counselors.
Mr. Jim McLaughlin — Co-chair

Jim McLaughlin is an educator and lifelong learner at heart, and has dedicated his career to college counseling and student success. He traveled to more than 30 countries during his 15+ years in international admissions and student services at Chestnut Hill College and Drexel University, located in his hometown of Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love & Sisterly Affection.” Prior to joining the IC3 team full-time in September 2019, Jim most recently directed the Office of International Students and Scholars Services at Drexel University where he led a team of eight professionals serving 5,000+ students and scholars. He has been involved with the IC3 Movement since 2016 and has attended every Annual IC3 Conference. Jim has held several IC3 leadership positions, including Chair of both the Outreach Committee (2016-17) and University Committee (2017-18). Jim resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with his family and currently serves as Co-Chair of the 2020 Annual IC3 Conference.
Mr. Vikram Balajiwale — Career and College Counsellor

A passionate and ardent educationalist, Mr. Balajiwale goes above and beyond to help the budding young generation pursue their educational and career goals. With 20 years of experience in the education field, he knows how important proper guidance for career and higher education is to both students and parents. As the leader of Ashoka Group of Schools, Nashik’s career counselling cell he has designed unique and interesting career counselling sessions, workshops, guidance programs and internship programs for 9th-12th grade students. He is currently part of the 2019-2020 IC3 Institute Cohort and is Rotary Interact Director for where he conducted the Career Incubation Hub and Start Up Conference, very innovative programs on career development, which have benefitted more than 2,000 high school students in Nashik.
Ms. Khushboo Taparia Bedi — Coordinator, SAMCARA -- The Career Counseling Cell
The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal
Khushboo Bedi is the coordinator of the Career Counseling Cell at The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal. She pursued her MBA at San Diego State University, U.S. and worked for two years in the U.S. as a business analyst. Ms. Bedi also worked for seven years with DB Corp. Ltd. as a project coordinator of the Dainik Bhaskar School of Media Education, a learning and development wing of Bhaskar. She has vast experience spearheading many projects, corporate training and events. In the last year and a half, Ms. Bedi has spread her wings into counseling students for different national and international career options, along with coordinating all career events and workshops for The Sanskaar Valley School.
Dr. Rajeev Chhetri — Principal
Kathmandu World School
Dr. Rajeev Chhetri joined Kathmandu World School in May 2018, bringing a long-standing experience of over two decades as an academician and academic administrator in reputed educational institutes of the Kathmandu Valley. He started his career at the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) as the Programme Coordinator of the Science Stream. In 2008, he was appointed the Academic Head of GEMS Institute of Higher Education where he was responsible for overseeing the academic of Plus 2, A Level and BS-MD (Bachelor of Science leading to a degree in Medicine), a binary programme with Angeles University Foundation, Philippines. Thereafter, he was the Academic Director of Golden Gate International College, Liverpool International College, and more recently, Patan College for Professional Studies, the academic partner of the University of Bedfordshire, U.K. in Nepal. In the capacity of the Head of Academics in various colleges, he has functioned as the principal architect in planning, executing and monitoring day-to-day operations, and also developed a performance evaluation system for students, as well as co-workers in addition to formulating, recommending and implementing new policies to promote progressive trends in higher education. He earned his PhD in Environmental Sciences from Kathmandu University, Nepal and his undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Sri Sathya Sai University, India. He has published many research articles in various international and national journals related to his core area of research on Ethnobotany.
Ms. Aline Mello de Lima Chmatalik — Coordinator of International Studies
A former EducationUSA Advisor, Aline has prior experience in IB and Brazilian curriculum schools. Currently, she coordinates the Department of International Studies at Escola Móbile, advising students that are pursuing higher education or a summer program abroad. She is also responsible for developing and promoting events, university fairs and international educational projects for groups of students. As a visiting student, Aline attended the University of Central Florida and Piedmont Virginia Community College. Passionate for education, she believes that through her experience she can help students broaden their horizons. Aline encourages students to explore their inner skills and search for new possibilities, so that they can make better decisions as they find universities that best fit their needs.
Mrs. Kierstan Connors — Head

Mrs. Kierstan Connors, PhD, joined GEMS Education as the founding Director of College Counseling for the flagship, technology-focused GEMS Nations Academy Dubai four years ago and now serves a consolidated, centralized, international role as GEMS Corporate Head of College & Career Counseling Worldwide to develop the GEMS global brand of excellence for university and career advising for over 250 schools with eight different curricula and over 50,000 secondary students placed in post-secondary programs each year. Prior to GEMS, she spent over 30 years as an international administrator, professor, academic dean and consultant in Central America, the Middle East and Asia, with a five year role as Dean and Director of College Counseling in China with Ray Global Education and the Ministry of Education (SOEEC) based out of Shanghai. Mrs. Connors brings over three decades of experience managing and advising international students, families and school staff through the complexities of the holistic college application process on a global scale, and is uniquely qualified to support international students, schools and advising teams in their efforts to gain admission to the most selective universities worldwide. Mrs. Connors earned dual-accelerated degrees from Stanford University and the Universidad de Panama, is a Master Teacher of Economics and English, and has a PhD in Economics and International Literacy, Culture and Language Education Policy Studies from Indiana University.
Dr. Angelo M. D'Cruize — Principal

Dr. Angelo M. D’Cruize has over 30 years of experience in the field of education. Previously, he served as a headmaster at National Gems Higher Secondary School for 15 years. Currently, he is the principal of Stepping Stones High School, Aurangabad. He has been actively involved in the field of education and has also simultaneously headed several social organizations in his endeavor to serve people and better lives. He is on the managing committee of four schools in Aurangabad and Parbhani. He is the V.P. of the CBSE Principal’s Association of Marathwada. He has received awards and recognition for his contributions in the field of education and his social endeavors.
Ms. Prabha Dhoonooah — School Counsellor/Dean of Studies

Prabha Dhoonooah has 15+ years of experience as a school counselor and is currently the Dean of 6th Grade Studies, as well as a chemistry teacher, at Collège du Saint-Esprit, a boys-only, Roman Catholic high school in Mauritius. Her duties involve monitoring academic progress, discipline of grade 13 students, assisting with post-school transition, as well as managing exchange programs with schools from different parts of the world. Additionally, she is the coordinator for the International Convention for Students on Quality Control Circles at the school level and a member of IACAC. Ms. Dhoonooah graduated from Delhi University with a degree in Chemistry and completed a post-graduate certificate in Careers Education and Guidance at Napier University.

Rajendra K. Ghising has been involved from the very inception of Kathmandu World School in providing input for the design and development of the school infrastructure and facilities, as well as developing its vision, mission and policies. Before he joined Kathmandu World School, he was associated for more than two decades with GEMS School, and in his capacity as the Chief Executive Officer for the last eight years, he was the principal architect in the areas of financial management, strategic planning and execution as well as new business developments. He holds an MBA from Ace Institute of Management, Pokhara University, Nepal and PhD in Management from Angeles University, Philippines. Shiladitya Ghosh is working as Director-Principal at NH Goel World School, Raipur. In his previous assignments, he worked as head of curriculum and training at Shiv Nadar Foundation, and as regional manager at XSEED. Shil is a passionate teacher of Social Science and enjoys conversations with students related to current social issues. He believes that a strong teacher-student relationship goes a long way to help students explore their inherent potential and helps identify a career path that one chooses to tread. Shilpa Gupta is a self-directed leader and an action-oriented educator with high energy that creates a warm and welcoming learning environment. She is a dedicated, enthusiastic and outgoing educator who is highly committed to the growth and progress of all students. This has included introducing, developing and leading the college counselling department. Starting with a cohort of 10 students and developing into 82 students applying overseas in four years. She has an excellent record of continuing professional development, which includes a college advising program from Columbia University, Summer Institute of College admissions from Harvard University, five International ACAC conferences, three NACAC conferences, one CIS conference, and four IC3 conferences. She has also had an opportunity to visit various countries to gain in-depth understanding of the application processes in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, E.U., Japan, Ireland, Hong Kong, the Middle East and China. She is currently serving on the Executive Board of International ACAC as a delegate to the NACAC Assembly. She has also been a planning committee member for the IC3 Conference.
Ms. Bridget Herrera — College Counselor
American International School of Dhaka
Bridget Herrera is in her second year as College/High School Counselor at the American International School of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to this, she worked for over 25 years as a college counselor in Latin America. Bridget's volunteer experience includes President of International ACAC (2010); Chair of NACAC's Inclusion and Access Committee (2007-2009); TOEFL Board Member (2014-2016); member of the Common Application's Advisory Outreach Group (2010-2013); and Counselor Liaison for the CIS Latin America Committee (2000-2009). She currently serves on the International ACAC Governance and Nominating Committee and is working to create a vibrant college counseling network in Dhaka.
Mr. Richard Hillebrand — Director of Academics and Principal

Richard Hillebrand has been an educator for over 30 years in the U.K. and Asia. His passion remains teaching History, but he has also held several leadership roles. He is currently the Director of Academics and Principal at Trivandrum International School, Kerala, returning to the institution he helped establish in 2003. Thomas Moriarty has been an educator for over seven years in the U.K. and U.A.E. His passion remains teaching Physical Education, but he has also held several leadership roles. Ms. Mai-Ly Nguyen — Board of Studies

Ms. Mai-Ly Nguyen was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam until she went to study abroad in the U.S. at age 15. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, she went back to Vietnam and worked in the banking industry for three years. In 2017, Mai-Ly decided to take a leap in her career by starting a new job at Wellspring International Bilingual School and has been working there ever since. Her current roles at Wellspring include Event Coordinator for the University and Career Counseling Office, Cambridge IGCSE Exams Officer, and member of the School Board of Studies. Mai-Ly is living proof for young generations that career paths are not always linear and that we should stay connected with our curiosity.
Mr. Michael J. Purcell — Head of School
Mr. Mick Purcell is the Head of School at KC High in Chennai, India. Mick comes from the U.S. where he received his degrees in Engineering and Physics. He has been a Mathematics teacher for more than 25 years and has also taught Physics, general science, History, Theory of Knowledge, Computer Science, Design and Technical Writing. Mick serves many roles for the IBO as a workshop leader, consultant, site visitor and more. He serves on the Board of Governors of The Association of International Schools of India (TAISI) and of Edubridge International School. He loves to hike and climb mountains, read books, as well as spend time with his wife and three children.
Mr. Surender P. Sachdeva — Principal

Principal Surender Sachdeva, a competent administrator with two decades of experience, began his career with Delhi Public School, Vasantkunj and rapidly progressed to being the Principal of DPS, Indore in 2005. He toured Australia to gain insight into the educational policies of New South Wales. A postgraduate in Mathematics and an MBA in Educational Administration, he is an advisor for NCERT textbooks while also wearing the hats of the Chief Nodal Officer for CBSE examinations and Chairman of the Sahodaya School Complex. He has been the recipient of the “Leadership and Governance Award” for three consecutive years by the Kalorex Education Trust and has led DPS Bhopal to the number one position in the state of Gujarat.
Ms. Soju Salam — University and Guidance Counsellor
Ms. Soju Salam is the University and Guidance Counselor at KC High, Chennai. She has single-handedly created the college counseling department at her school. Her experience in guiding her two children to universities in the U.S. has helped her understand the needs of students, parents, and the school, in making the college application process enjoyable. Soju guides students from Grades 9 to 12 on a one-on-one basis or in groups, focusing on identifying interests, strengths and skills, and helping them in choosing career paths they are passionate about. She organizes university visits, fairs, guidance for summer school, and internships. Soju is one of the 23 graduates of the first cohort of the IC3 Institute Certificate Program.
Ms. Rupkatha Sarkar — Principal

Mrs. Rupkatha Sarkar serves as the Principal of La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata. It is an internationally renowned school with 184 years of educational excellence. It has been recognized as one of the best girls’ schools in India and the city of Kolkata. Mrs. Sarkar has been in the field of education for the last 27 years. She is a post-graduate of Calcutta University and graduated from Presidency College, Calcutta. She completed her B.Ed. at St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, as well as an Educational Management Diploma in Administration. She serves in an advisory capacity for several school and college boards and is the recipient of several awards as an inspiring teacher and educator. Mrs. Sarkar believes that true nation building is possible through education of women and children.
Ms. Lakshmi Prabha Senthil — Career Counselor
Ms. Senthil has been the lead Career Counselor at CS Academy since 2015. She has a background in corporate human resources and systems in the U.K. and holds an MBA from MOP Vaishnav College, Chennai. She has lived for over a decade in the U.K., Hong Kong, and China. Combined with her international exposure, networking, and public relations, she has been instrumental in setting up a successful career counselling cell at the school. Prabha brings her wide personal experience in helping students identify their goals and pursue them. Ms. Senthil brings the best industry and education experts to interact with students and conducts career fairs and orientations for parents and students. She works endlessly to ensure the best opportunities are shared with her students to help identify their interests and plan their pathway to new and developing careers.
Mr. YK Sindhwani — Head of School

Yogesh Sindhwani, an immensely passionate educator and leader, is a post-graduate in Organic Chemistry and holds a Bachelor's in Law and Education. His enriching contribution to the field of education spans over three decades. This dynamic educational leader's expertise lies in the domain of education management and he leads various verticals as a part of his current role as Head of the School at Lancers International School, India. Mr. Sindhwani has implemented and overseen the professional development of staff, admission processes, creating and implementing school policies, enhancing holistic achievement for students ages 2-19, and developed school culture through local and international collaborations. His passion for world economics, philosophy, and politics, motivated him to also venture into the field of Theory of Knowledge and he continues to pursue this passion as an IB ToK teacher and an examiner. Ms. Angelina Singh — Coordinator

Ms. Angelina Singh is the Coordinator of the Durga Das Foundation, and a member of the Strawberry Fields High School Management Committee. She has been associated in several capacities in the school since its inception in 2004. With a postgraduate degree in English Literature, Bachelor’s of Education and L.L.B. from Punjab University, she has gathered vast experience in the field of education, including four years as a principal. As coordinator of the foundation, she is actively involved in organizing cultural activities held under the aegis of the Durga Das Foundation.

Dr. Sanjay Suar — Principal
KiiT International School
Dr. Sanjay Suar is a veteran and problem-solving Principal at the helm of KiiT International School. In the past 13 years, he has helped establish the school as one of the leading international schools in India. Dr. Suar is best described as an inspirational leader. He has a way of motivating teachers and students alike to work hard, keep a good attitude, and be socially responsible. He has fostered the hard-fought unity of this unique school, which is a merger of three curriculums: CBSE, IGCSE, and IBDP. Under his leadership, the school has risen from 24 students and 14 staff to 1,600 students and 410 staff. Ms. Trang Nguyen Thi Thu — Vice Principal

Born and raised in Hanoi, Ms. Trang Nguyen completed her Bachelor of Education in 2004 and since then has been an English teacher. She has always been passionate about the ESL and IELTS teaching-learning processes and has attended lots of conferences, seminars, and workshops along with her teaching. Her current roles at Wellspring include being the Vice Principal of High School (in charge of ESL and English programs), Leader of Events for the middle and high schools (grades 6 to 12), Vice Cambridge English Manager, an ESL/ IELTS teacher, and a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner. While working with young students, she has found the significant role of university and career counseling towards students in high school. It is important for Ms. Trang Nguygen to provide the best support to students in their lifelong learning process and also future career paths.
Mr. Pramod Tripathi — Head Master

A young person full of fervour and pleasing personality, Mr. Pramod Tripathi holds a dual Master’s degree in M.Sc. Strategic Studies and M.A. Education. He is an expert faculty in Physics and has worked with schools of high repute where he has successfully groomed a set of future leaders. He has also conducted many motivational and leadership programs for young, budding professionals and educators. Ms. Swati Vats has a rich experience of over 15 years as an educationist and Career Counselor. She is an IBDP examiner and currently handling the dual responsibilities as College Guidance Counselor and Associate DP Coordinator at Lancers International School, Gurgaon.

Ms. Anju Wal — Principal

Anju Wal, the founding Principal of Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, is an educator with 27 years of experience. As a passionate teacher, she started her career in Study Hall School, Lucknow, where she spent 10 years as a founding teacher, touching a wide spectrum of grades from KG to Grade XI. She introduced innovative pedagogy for the teaching of English and later moved to City Montessori School, Department of English, teaching grades XI and XII. In 2006, she became the Principal of Riverside School, where she worked for four years. In her last assignment, she was the principal of a reputed educational institution, the Jaipuria School, Lucknow, for five years, 2010-15. The Board results and SAT scores went up appreciably in her tenure and some of her students attained a 100% scholarship to Harvard and other universities abroad for undergraduate studies. Anju Wal studied at Mater Dei School, Delhi. A postgraduate in English Literature, she studied at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and dabbled in theatre, debating, and writing. She plunged into advertising and journalism right after college and worked in different cities with Business India Magazine, before finding her calling in education. Pubudu Wijesinghe has experience in the education industry for over 15 years. As the High School Counselor for the Gateway Group of Schools in Sri Lanka, she is responsible for strategic decision making to provide access to quality education to all deserving students. Prior to her current role, Ms. Wijesinghe was the head of Gateway School of Computing. She has expertise in curriculum design, technology in education, assessment and evaluation, as well as professional development for teachers in Computing at Secondary level. Pubudu holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems from the London Metropolitan University in the U.K. She is currently reading for her M.B.A. at the Post Graduate Institute of Management in Sri Lanka.
